It is a collaboration between the USEK Alumni Relations Office and the USEK Business School (UBS) to build bridges between successful alumni and senior UBS students.
The initiative came as result of finding a way to reach out to our alumni and get them more involved with the school, especially as our Alumni office is being more active recently.
It was a great opportunity to showcase to our senior students’ real life examples of the transitional period from studies to Labor market and to make them feel more proud of their degree and their ability to succeed.
This project started in Spring 201820 and targeted courses depending on the position of the contacted alumni.

Relevance of the development of initiative in its specific context
This endeavor aims to highlight their journey from their time as an USEK student to the accomplished career level they have reached, by organizing a visit to their renowned company. This visit allowed our students to have an inside look into the field of their specialty as reflected through the daily responsibilities they handle and the activities of the company in general.
Visibility of the action
Every visit was promoted on the school’s Facebook page, as recognition to our Alumni and to tighten the bonds with the school. This social media platform will allow them to remain in contact with the news and happenings of the schools.
Transferability
It is easily transferred to other faculties and countries as the main actors are Alumni.
Sustainability
This initiative was highly welcomed by our students since they liked to visit companies and the set up enabled them to ask more direct questions. Next year, this project will be further developed to cover almost all specializations and both undergrad and grad levels.
Innovative character
The initiative might not be innovative as is, but it was a good way of reaching and engaging our alumni.
Impact
This initiative had a very positive impact on our students as they requested additional visits.
